Dewey Square Park connects the major transportation hub of South Station to the Financial District at the southern end of the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The park has gardens, lawn areas and the adjacent plaza.
Although the Dewey Square Park is one of the smallest parks on the Greenway, it has gardens, lawn areas and the adjacent plaza to accommodate a wide variety of events and activities.
Dewey Square Park is easily accessible by Commuter Rail from South Station or Red or Silver Lines from South Station.
Dewey Demonstration Gardens is visually lively all year-round and demonstrates sustainable, urban, gardening practices. There are pollinator plants to attract beneficial insects, unusual edible plants, as well as a rain garden comprised of native plants of the Northeast.
